Tradition in a refined style
AnkeA refined classic in a new guise, the Bio White Grey Premium tea
A touch of history
Earl Grey is one of the world's most famous teas. Originally, this classic tea was made from black tea, enriched with bergamot oil, a citrus fruit grown primarily in southern Italy. For centuries, the fresh, floral aroma of bergamot has perfectly complemented the full, earthy flavor of black tea.
With Bio White Grey Premium This tradition is given a modern and refined twist. Instead of just black tea, this blend also contains white tea. This makes the flavor more subtle, elegant, and light, while retaining the strength and depth of the black tea. The result: a balanced and organic blend that tastes both familiar and innovative.
What makes Bio White Grey Premium special?
- Organically grown: pure quality, without artificial additives.
- Double base: the strength of black tea combined with the softness of white tea.
- Natural bergamot oil: provides the fresh citrus note that makes Earl Grey so popular.
- Versatile: delicious for a quiet morning moment, a refined afternoon break or as a light evening tea.
Brewing advice – how to get the most out of your tea
Because Bio White Grey Premium contains both black and white tea leaves, it's important to pay close attention to the temperature and steeping time. This ensures all the flavors are beautifully balanced.
Amount: 2 grams of loose tea per 200 ml of water (approx. 1 level teaspoon).
Water temperature: 85–90 °C, just below boiling point.
Steeping time: 2.5 – 3 minutes for a mild flavour, up to a maximum of 4 minutes for more intensity.
Tip: Use soft or filtered water to accentuate the delicate bergamot notes.
Serving tips
Pure: let the elegant balance of black and white tea fully shine.
With a slice of lemon : enhances the fresh bergamot notes.
With milk or plant-based milk: gives a classic British touch, although this is less often done with a blend with white tea.
Discover the magic of Bio White Grey Premium for yourself and let yourself be seduced by its unique balance of power and subtlety.
